Community Guidelines & Moderation Policy
Last updated August 12, 2026
EarningBeers.com celebrates people age 21 and older who want to share an activity, have a laugh, and add to a transparent community tally. Keep it genuine, safe, respectful, and adult-only.
Who may participate
You must be 21 or older. Do not submit a workout, photo, caption, nickname, or group name that features, identifies, targets, or is submitted on behalf of a minor.
What belongs here
- A real activity or workout that you completed.
- A believable calorie figure from your tracker, equipment, app, or reasonable estimate.
- An optional photo or screenshot you created or have permission to share.
- A nickname, broad city, group, and caption that respect everyone involved.
Do not submit
- Anything involving a minor or youth-focused organization.
- Precise home, work, school, route, or real-time location information; private contact details; or another person’s confidential information.
- Harassment, threats, hate, bullying, explicit sexual content, graphic violence, or demeaning content.
- Illegal, dangerous, deceptive, fabricated, or manipulated activity.
- Content you do not own or have permission to display, including copyrighted images, brand assets, and another person’s likeness.
- Spam, promotions, malicious links, repeated duplicates, counter manipulation, or automated submissions.
- Claims that beers earned are redeemable or real alcohol, encouragement of excessive drinking, or unsafe alcohol behavior.
Photo and privacy checklist
- Remove embedded GPS or other sensitive metadata before uploading.
- Check the background for names, addresses, license plates, badges, computer screens, and bystanders.
- Use a broad location such as a city, not an address or route.
- Get permission from every adult who is clearly identifiable.
How moderation works
All submissions begin as Pending and are reviewed before public display. A moderator may publish, leave pending, reject, request a correction or resubmission, or remove a previously published workout. Publication is not guaranteed.
Submissions receive extra review when they are unusual or higher-risk. Examples include 2,500 or more calories, 25 or more beers, a first-time submitter, rapid repeat submissions, an unreadable or invalid image, extreme claims, partner or promotional content, or a request for community support. During the MVP, human approval remains the final publication decision.
What counts publicly
Only approved, published workout records appear in the Community Feed or add to the Daily and Ultimate totals. Pending, draft, rejected, spam, or trashed submissions add zero. If a published record is corrected or removed, its public contribution may change.
Fairness and enforcement
Moderation decisions consider these Guidelines, the Terms of Use, safety, privacy, legal risk, context, and patterns of abuse. We may remove content or restrict participation when reasonably necessary to protect the community or the site. Repeated or serious violations may result in future submissions being rejected.
Report content or request removal
Email info@earningbeers.com with the page or workout, the nickname shown, and the reason for your report. For a privacy or removal request, use the email address connected with the submission when possible so we can verify it.
Remember what “earned” means
The site’s beer count is a playful entertainment metric: 100 calories burned = 1 beer earned. It is not a recommendation to drink, a promise of alcohol, or anything redeemable.
