This policy explains how EarningBeers.com collects, uses, shares, and protects information in the current website MVP.

Information we collect

• Workout submissions: nickname, email address, activity, duration, calories, calculated beers, and any optional city, group, image, or caption you provide.
• Confirmations and preferences: your upload and display consent, confirmation that you are 21 or older, agreement to the Community Guidelines, and any optional marketing choice.
• Technical and security information: IP address, browser and device details, request times, server logs, and bot-detection signals needed to operate and protect the site.

What may become public

Every workout is held for moderation. If approved, the Community Feed may display the submitter’s nickname, activity, calories, beers earned, optional broad city or group, image, and caption. We do not publicly display the submitter’s email address, internal moderation notes, or security information.

How we use information

• Receive, review, moderate, and publish eligible workout submissions.
• Calculate community totals using approved, published workout records only.
• Send administrative notifications, respond to questions, and handle removal or privacy requests.
• Prevent spam, abuse, fraud, and security incidents; maintain and improve the website.
• Send marketing messages only if an optional marketing program is activated and you have opted in. You may opt out at any time.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and the current MVP does not use workout-submission data for targeted advertising.

Service providers

We use WordPress and Formidable Forms to operate the website and store submissions; GoDaddy for hosting; Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and abuse prevention; Microsoft 365 with FluentSMTP to deliver administrative email; MailerLite to operate voluntary launch-list signups and confirmation emails; and Google Analytics to measure visits and interactions so we can understand and improve the site. These providers may process technical or personal information as needed to provide their services. Their own terms and privacy notices also apply. Cookies and technical tools

The site and its service providers may use cookies, browser storage, pixels, and similar technical tools for administration, security, embedded signup forms, audience measurement, and reliable operation. Cloudflare Turnstile evaluates browser and request signals to distinguish people from bots. Google Analytics measures visits and interactions such as page views, workout-submission activity, and launch-list signups. MailerLite processes signup activity and uses technical tools to operate embedded forms and confirmation flows. The current MVP does not use these tools for advertising personalization. Browser settings or privacy tools may limit these technologies, and we will update this policy before adding materially different tracking or advertising tools.

Images and location

Do not upload a photo containing a minor, precise location information, or anything you do not have permission to share. Remove embedded GPS or other sensitive metadata before uploading. Once an approved image is public, visitors may view, download, or copy it, and we cannot fully control downstream copies.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to moderate submissions, operate the site, respond to requests, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups until those backups rotate. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct, delete, or remove your submitted information or published workout by emailing info@earningbeers.com. Please identify the submission and use the email address connected with it when possible. We may verify your identity and may retain limited records where reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or backup purposes.

Age restriction

EarningBeers.com is intended only for people age 21 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe a person under 21 submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.

Third-party links

The site may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date above will show the latest revision. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect when practical.
